Loa is a grumpy waker. Funny, so is her mother. As, part of her wake up routine, Loa likes to have milk and a few books. Her narrator of choice? Mom.
Today as I was getting ready to leave for work at the ‘bucks, Loa sees me walk in the room and the conversation went like this:
Loa: Bye Daddy
Me: Daddy’s not leaving yet.
Loa: Bye Daddy
Me: Daddy’s not leaving yet. Can I have a kiss?
Loa: No. BYEEEEEEE!!!
Me: Okay, guess I’m leaving then.
It’s okay, because it gave me more time to enjoy my drink at work before I walked on the floor.

Ha! I have a grumpy waker, too. One of my girls you can wake up anytime, anywhere, and she’ll be fine. But another, if she falls asleep for 30 seconds in the car and you have to wake her, watch out!!!
